Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• One year of experience working with a diverse population of students.
• Successful experience in a student support role.
• Experience with providing students with resources on high school and college campuses that assist first generation college-going students.
• Knowledge of financial aid and other financial resources.
• Strong organizational, management, and leadership skills
• Ability to:
  • manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • work cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
  • exercise sound judgement.
  • determine priorities.
  • multi-task and effectively work with diverse groups.
  • complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • work well under tight deadlines.

• Experience leading and motivating others.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in education, Social Work, or Social Service- related field.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates who have succeeded in overcoming barriers like those confronting the project's target population.

Days Worked: Monday – Friday

Hours/Shift worked: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
