The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. The Clinic provides behavioral treatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include:
Deliver CBT-I treatment
through structures individual therapy sessions
Review clinical intake
materials to develop personalized treatment plans
Track patient progress
through sleep diaries, clinical assessments and session interactions
Maintain timely
documentation in the electronic medical record system
Communicate with patients
and referring providers as needed
Other Clinical duties as
assigned
Please note this is an 11-month limited position that may
convert to career.
Pay Range: $54.66 - $72.09
Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Valid CA Psychology License
Previous experience working with
insomnia patients
Previous experience with CBT-I
(preferred)
Strong computer skills including word
processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
Ability to work and practice
professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel, and
patients
Ability to communicate clearly and
effectively both verbally and in writing
