Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time
Therapist to join our Insomnia Clinic. Our clinic focuses on insomnia treatment
using cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). Primary duties
include:
Running therapy sessions using
cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I)
Reviewing intake notes, initial self-report
questionnaires, sleep diary, and other relevant documents
Evaluating patients progress and writing notes
into e-medical records system
Communicating with patients regarding clinical
and administrative issues
Other duties as assigned
Please note: this is a limited position that may convert to
career
Salary range: $34.24/hr - $74.19/hr
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT)
Valid LMFT in the state of CA
Previous experience working with insomnia patients
Previous experience with CBT-I
Minimum 2 years experience as a CBT-I provider (preferred)
Strong computer skills including word processing, email
systems, spreadsheets, and e-medical records
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
